Three generations of passionate hosts have shaped the establishment with their personality, warmth and a fine sense for the extraordinary. Here, you will feel a sense of closeness, a connection to our homeland and the wonderful feeling of being welcome from the very first moment.

Around 1900

Amalia and Andrä lay the foundation stone for the Gasserhof and create a place for a cosy rest stop.

1910

The Osteria Gasser is mentioned by name for the first time. It only had a few guest rooms, but all the more heart.

1950s

Grandfather Hans, Amalia and Andrä's eldest son, takes over the hotel. His vision, energy and genuine hospitality spirit are evident. Hans marries Maria Thaler, our grandmother, who soon takes up the chef’s hat and whips up the most exquisite dishes.

1978

The house expands: new rooms are added. As the restaurant culture grows, the Gasserhof becomes a meeting place for sociable connoisseurs.

1984

The main building is lovingly renovated and acquires its distinctive character. Late 1980s: Gasserhof KG is founded, marking another milestone for the family business.

2001

Twelve apartment lodges are built opposite the main building, offering plenty of space for families and free spirits.

2011

A new pool, spacious junior and family suites, and a light-filled restaurant for half-board guests are added to the mix.

2015

A new haven emerges during the era of wellness. Our spacious sauna area becomes a new favourite spot for anyone who loves a little extra warmth.

2017

The restaurant is expanded and fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows for even more light, panoramic views and indulgence.

2018

The adults-only panoramic terrace and the car-free “Plaztl” create quiet places of well-being. The pergola brings shade and lightness to the garden during the summer.

2022

Hermann Goller and his family take over the business – bringing new energy, dedication and a clear focus on what matters most.

2023

Their eldest daughter Anna enriches everyday life with fresh ideas and a refined eye for detail.

2024

The new infinity pool on the panoramic terrace is taking shape – with spectacular views and a sophisticated adults-only atmosphere. An absolute highlight. In addition, all lodges have been renovated, inviting guests to relax and unwind in spacious surroundings.
