Moritz always knows which wine to recommend
When I was 15, I actually wanted to be a patissier. However, I soon realised that my heart beats for service. So I trained as a service specialist, and today, after more than 10 years, I am convinced that this training was a game-changer.
At the beginning of my career, it was all about gaining experience, of course, and in the first years of my journey I stopped off in Passeier, Dorf Tirol, Gröden, and St. Moritz before embarking on the great adventure of Australia, which was key in shaping my passion for wine.
Back in Europe, I trained as a sommelier. In the following seven years, I advanced from service employee to food & beverage director. This allowed me to build up a large network, through which I ultimately ended up at the Gasserhof.
Today, I am considered the Goller family's right hand. Together with my team, I carry on the hotel's mission to give guests moments of pure pleasure and well-being, as well as to guide them in choosing the right wine.
